High quality fair price

The parallel bar and hardware seem to be just fine in appearance, construction and functionality. For informational purposes, if you are considering purchasing this product, the cables and hardware mount on the surface of the drawing board at both edges and across the top. The parallel bar on the other board I use frequently has the cable and hardware mounted on the underside of the board. The surface mount is not a problem...just takes a little getting used to.

Product is excellent. Dew Drafting Supply needs to do a better job shipping, like, uh reading the address,or even the shipping comments.

<p>I love the ALVIN Parallel Bar. First new one I have had in 20 years. You were out of the 42", so I ordered the 48". Somewhere in shipment the corner edge of the bar splintered off ( about 3" ) probanly due to impact.. I can flip the bar over and use it, but I was disappointed. I will keep it, but if a 42" bar is ever available I would like to get one ...possibily discounted in price due to the damage on my 48" bar.</p>

Great product, that is easy to assemble and use. Slides easily and stays square. Got my moneys worth.
