Sometimes the printed numbers or segments are easily worn off on plastic scales. My preference is normally for wood, but time will tell. Your product looks good.

After years of using a traditional triangle scale rule, I decided to try out this variation. What a treat! MUCH easier to find the scale you want to use. Each end of the scale starts with "0" and counts up, so you can work easily from either end of the scale. No more spinning the scale around to find the right side to work with.

This scale simplifies and speeds readings as it is uniformly divided the entire length and can be read from either direction. I have several and give them to my staff to aid ACCURATE measurements from plan drawings. I had been unable to find them for the last several years but "here they are" and the price was modest
