I added this onto my last order to give it a try. Surprisingly good without much effort. The surface crumbles away while lifting the graphite, which removes any lead from the eraser’s surface and thus prevents smearing. I have several of the big name Japanese erasers and this Staedtler does a better job ! It also feel good while holding and working.
