Some drafting tapes are too strong, others too weak. Alvin's is, in my opinion, just right. I also like the ½" width.

Drafting tape is perfect for tacking down paper to a surface for hand-coating papers with a coating rod or brush. The tape is increasingly hard to find. Thanks for carrying it!
