The threaded end that would go to mt table was smaller diameter than the threaded rod on my table. In the end I was unable to use the parts for my table. The fact the support pieces were made of plastic instead of steel like my original was disappointing as well.

I was a draftsman years ago and worked off a 3 foot x 6 foot 4 post drawing table with a parallel bar. We are doing some remodeling at my church and I wanted a small drafting table but couldn't find the size I needed that was affordable. So I began purchasing the mat cover, parallel bars, tilt rods and other equipment from Dew Drafting Supplies. Everything came in short order I built the top from extra wood in my shop and bought an electric height adjustable base. I now have a completed drafting table that will remain in my Churches Buildings and Grounds office for years to come. Even if know one draws on it, it will be an excellent surface to use when reviewing plans for repairs or modifications. Thank you for having the necessary equipment and delivering in a timely fashion. If I had a Dew Drafting Sticker I would place it on the parallel bar so it was always visible. Thank You.

The kit fit on my drafting table but I had to use some of the old hardware in order for it to work. The new hardware did not work. Price is high for the part but I had no other choices. Dew was the only place I could find the kit.

I was very disappointed to learn the slide clamps were made of plastic. So while it works, I'm curious how durable it will be. I don't actually move the table much, but with everything else on the table being metal or wood, plastic is a disappointment for sure.

I have my grandfathers old oak Mayline drafting table that he bought in the 1950’s and through several moves, we had lost parts to the lifting rods. I purchased this set and just prayed they would work. They fit perfectly and once again the old drafting table is usable! Thank you!!
