Same great quality as back in the day when engineering was done with pencils and slide rules.

My only complaint is the same as many other orders with other companies: Stop using FedEx and USPS as a team. You can't track anything once it gets to USPS. People want to know where their order is and want it FAST......not in USPS 's skill set

<p>My drafting table top layer had not been replaced in 30 years or so, and it showed. Ink stains, spilled paint, cuts, and an inscription done 20 years ago by our son that said "Rusty was here." </p>

<p>The new cover went on nicely and looks great, though a little pricey. I cut out and saved "Rusty was here."</p>

Pros:
  • Nice surface
Cons:
  • irregular length
<p>I ordered a 36”x60” sheet.</p>

<p>What I received was more like 36”x65.3” and was unevenly cut.</p>

<p>That is more work for me. Now I have to go out buy a mat knife and metal straight edge and trim it myself.</p>

<p>I have these from other vendors in the past and not had this problem</p>

Quite simply the same high quality board cover I've been using for more than 40 years. The old drafting table looks new again.

I no longer sit at a 4 posted drafting table, but I still like the old school table top look and feel. It's a great surface to write on (which is It's original purpose) and easy to keep clean. The shipping was quick and the packaging was as good as it needed to be. It's quality material so it costs a bit more, but you get what you pay for. I generally buy a piece and cut it to whatever desk I might be at these days.
