This is the third drafting table cover I've purchased. They are great coverings and work perfectly for all drafting operations. After rehabilitating a couple other tables, I built this one and increased the surface to suit the work I'm doing. This is a great product and is held in place with a minimum of tape once it is flat. I received this mat during the coldest spell of winter so it took a bit longer to relax and flatten but it was worth the wait.

I'm setting up a home studio, so having a single sheet of vinyl Vyco is fantastic; an entire roll would be cost prohibitive. This is the perfect product for a smooth board cover. I chose the gray and white and am using the gray side - less glare. Same as Borco that was the industry standard for many years.

a necessity for drafting

an absolute necessity for draftsmen and artists. the vinyl will actually take some damage and conceal the marks. for example, pointed tips like compass and divider points won't leave permanent scars if you are careful.
