I’m 74 yrs old Jan 19 been drafting on a board since 1964 so I’m not new at use of these products the guide should come with a plastic base that the bottom on the guide slides into so it would ride along a triangle or drafting square or machine as they were called once upon a time to keep it stable as you letter on the drafting board
