Everything is good. I wish the degrees went a little higher and that there was a line on the minor axis. However that's all shown in the product page so I can't really complain.
I draw Cars for a hobby and I bought this set because of the lower price. I also bought a full set of Alvin large ellipses. Although the Alvin sets cost more, they are much better. The Alvin set is easier to use because there are lines to guide you while this Timely set only has tiny holes. In my opinion I think the Alvin sets are worth the extra money.
Replaced a cheap set which - I’m genuinely not sure how this could even happen - weren’t perfectly symmetrical. These are perfect, albeit a touch thin. Nonetheless, they work great and they make perfect ovals.
To be honest, not as thick/durable as I thought they would be. They are a nice set for the price point though. I am hoping that they will last me awhile. I take care of my drafting tools so "fingers crossed!"
While these aren’t the most fancy or comprehensive set of ellipse guides, for non-professional purposes they get the job done. I’ve been using them to complete my perspective homework, which doesn’t require a bigger ellipses or a wider range, and it’s perfect for that. In fact, the smaller size of the sheets make them better to maneuver on my sketchbook. They’re well worth the price, especially considering they’re cheaper here than on amazon!
