The compas is good but could be better if both legs were the same length. A little awkward to use but acceptable.

I am a visual artist. This beam compass is PERFECT for my needs. I was afraid that, for the price, it wouldn't be a bit flimsy and inaccurate, but the others I found that made a large enough circle were too much for my budget. I was delighted to find that it does a great job and looks and feels like it will list for the duration of my career.

Bought this to replace one that I have had for long time. Very easy to set up and use..
