Quality control at the manufacturer was marginal. About 5-10% of the sheets were unusable because of ink splotches or foreign matter impregnated in the vellum. Otherwise the vellum is excellent to draw on.

Clearprint of Leeds MA manufacture a high quality Vellum. Excellent results with layout using 0.3mm Draft/Matic lead pencil. I have used other manufacturers vellum over the last 20 years but Clearprint is by far the best to date. Also very good results when scanning and printing from drafted vellum 24x 36" sheets.
