Only questionable part is origin of manufacturing. Had I known it was China, I might've looked elsewhere. Pencil seems sturdy enough but this is why I rarely purchase tools from Amazon; when money isn't spent for quality control, the buyer can suffer.

This pencil so far has passed my inspection, so it was worth what I spent.
