This is a good basic protractor. The material is very nice and will not break- it's green vinyl that has a nice texture to it (not smooth). The only annoying bit is that at 45 and 135 degrees, your line needs to be significantly longer than at 0 or 180 degrees. I would love if the protractor was shaped like a semi-circle and the space at the bottom had a 4.5 in ruler.
