I bought this to line paper for calligraphy. It works good for that, the protractor is on the front edge so I can line up to the edge of a sheet of paper. I had a wesscot and I suppose it was ok, but mine was cracked from the git-go and I always felt like I just bought land fill. If I had to buy one again it would be this one.
