Best self-healing cutting mat we've ever used. Very high quality, like all the Alvin products we've tried. We are currently using the mat for cutting fabric with a rotary cutter, but the mat will also work well for our art/engineering projects using tools like an Exacto knife.

I love this mat. The only problem is during shipping it t is rolled and probably in hot trucks at some places along the way. I am having a very hard time getting it to lie flat. This is my 3rd mat from you and the first that I have had a problem with. Any suggestions.

I am happy to have this new cutting mat and it fits perfectly on my studio table. I looked long and hard to find a good cutting mat that was also good for rotary blades, visually appealing, good quality, etc. I like that this has a half inch grid, though I think I would prefer if the inch lines with bolder, or at least that the measurement numbers were printed more clearly. The printed numbers are blurry, small, and too close to the secondary numbers (that assist with measuring from different points on the mat) overall, I have to take a minute to make sense of the number I'm looking at to make sure I'm making the correct measurement/cut. Not ideal

I sew a lot and wanted a BIG cutting mat to cover my whole workspace. This is perfect. High quality and my rotary blades cut smoothly on it. I will say that the factory cutting mat smell was really, really, really strong for several days. I had to let it air out outside, and now it's totally fine.
