Cons:

I chose to buy these pencils after having seen and borrowed occasionally some for years.

These are very good quality pencils. They last for years and years without breaking or wearing out. The internal mechanism is brass. The barrel/tube is ABS plastic I think, and very unlikely to break. The threaded portion is metal threaded to metal, no plastic threaded to metal. Everything is fitted together perfectly. The tip and the end are metal, and the shiny finish I have not seen to come off. The clip is steel. Somebody did a very good job designing it. It looks nice, works well, is durable, and does not cost too much.

Another nice thing about it. These came out in 1970 and I do not think they ever redesigned them. No corner cutting or adding on unnecessary features here. I compared mine to one from the 1980's or 90's, and inside and out they are the same parts. There is nothing really to improve upon with this pencil.

Length: 142mm

Weight: about 9 grams

Good pencil
