I was very disappointed with my purchase. The mat came rolled up instead of flat, totally unusable. I tried laying heaving objects on it for a few days with no luck. I sent a message to customer service. Never got a reply. The packaging said to keep away from heat. However, I took it outside and laid it in the sun for an hour, then brought it inside and laid the heavy objects on it. After 1 week it is relatively flat. I tried to use this mat, but the numbers are so small and it makes it hard to read. Also the dimensions of 24 x 36 are the OUTSIDE measurements of the mat, not the usable area. I am going to pay the extra dollars and order an Olfa mat. They ship their mats flat and the numbers are large. I used Olfa for years, but thought I woud try the Alvin mat because it was cheaper. Yep, you get what you pay for.
