Description
Designed for professionals, these auto-feed pencils feature knurled stainless steel finger grips, rotating lead degree windows, and cushion points for comfortable writing control and minimal lead breakage. The 4mm long stainless steel lead sleeve supports the lead and provides drawing accuracy even with thick straightedges. Built-in eraser under cap.

5 .5 Drafting Pencil

I purchased the pencil to replace the one I dropped and broke. The pencil is the best mechanical pencil I have used. Delivery was prompt and the price excellent. This is the second pencil I have ordered (different point size) to maintain my drafting set. Excellent! Thank you for prompt service.

I've been using Alvin Draft/Matic pencils for years. I just really like the feel and quality of the pencil: it's got a good weight and heft, its knurled grip allows for precision, and they last forever. Except when you misplace them! So I needed a replacement — priced at nearly $30 at Amazon.com (!), I found them for sale at www.draftingsuppliesdew.com for less than $10 each. I bought two. Highly recommended.

For the record. The 0.3mm lead version of this pencil is yellow, not black. It's also a little obvious on the zoomed in version of this product pic that the lead size information has been blurred out.
