Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, photographs, prices and availability. However, manufacturers may change product designs, colors, materials, dimensions, packaging or specifications without notice.

Product images are provided for reference. Colors and details may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.

If we discover a material error in a product listing or order, we may contact you for instructions, correct the error or cancel and refund the affected item.

Pricing and Availability

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Placing an item in a shopping cart does not reserve the item or guarantee its price or availability.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel an order affected by an incorrect price, product description, shipping charge, availability status or technical error. If payment has already been collected for a canceled item, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted or shipped.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including because of:

• Product unavailability
• Incorrect pricing or product information
• Payment authorization problems
• Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
• Shipping restrictions
• Manufacturer discontinuation
• An inability to fulfill the order as requested

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled item or order.

Payment and Sales Tax

Credit cards are generally charged at the time of purchase. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal for qualifying online orders.

Orders paid by check will ship after the payment has cleared. A $25 fee applies to returned checks. We reserve the right to determine which payment methods are acceptable for an order.

Government agencies, military organizations and qualifying public institutions may be eligible to purchase using an approved purchase order. Purchase orders are subject to our published requirements, including a $150 minimum and Net 30 payment terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Applicable sales tax will be collected when required by law. Customers claiming tax-exempt status are responsible for providing valid exemption documentation before the order is processed.

Custom and Special Orders

Custom kits, made-to-order products, specially configured furniture and other special-order merchandise may require additional production or processing time.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving product selections, quantities, finishes, dimensions and other specifications before placing or approving a custom order.

Custom orders cannot be canceled once accepted or submitted for production. Any additional cancellation or return restrictions shown on the product page, quotation or order acknowledgment will also apply.

Shipping and Delivery

Orders may ship from our warehouse or directly from a manufacturer or distributor. Depending on the product, shipments may be sent by UPS, FedEx, USPS or a common carrier freight company.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Manufacturing delays, inventory shortages, carrier delays, weather, supply-chain disruptions and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.

Large or heavy products may require freight delivery. Unless additional delivery services were purchased, dock-to-dock or curbside freight delivery does not include unloading, inside placement, assembly or installation.

Freight Deliveries and Damage Inspection

Customers receiving a freight shipment are responsible for inspecting the cartons and shipment before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt or Bill of Lading.

Visible damage, shortages or compromised packaging should be noted on the delivery paperwork. Severely damaged shipments may be refused and marked “Refused Due to Damage.”

Customers should retain all packaging and photograph any damage. Freight damage must be reported to DEW within five days of receipt. Claims reported after that period may not be eligible for carrier reimbursement or replacement.

Returns and Cancellations

All returns require prior authorization from DEW. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Return eligibility, time limits, product-condition requirements, return shipping charges, nonreturnable products, restocking fees and refund procedures are governed by our current Returns & Cancellations Policy .

Product-specific return restrictions shown on a product page, quotation or written order acknowledgment also apply.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us promptly and retain the product, packaging and shipping materials.

DEW will provide instructions regarding inspection, replacement, return or disposal. Do not return an item without authorization and the correct return address.

Manufacturer Warranties

Certain products may include a warranty provided by the manufacturer. Warranty coverage, exclusions and remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer.

Except where expressly stated or required by law, DEW does not provide an additional warranty beyond the warranty supplied by the manufacturer.

Assembly and Product Use

Some furniture and equipment require assembly. Customers are responsible for following the manufacturer’s instructions and using products safely and for their intended purposes.

DEW is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper assembly, unauthorized modification, misuse, failure to follow instructions or use inconsistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Website Use

The content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and page designs, is owned by or licensed to Drafting Equipment Warehouse and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, distribute or commercially exploit website content without written permission.

You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent orders or use automated systems in a manner that disrupts the website or our business operations.

Third-Party Services and Checkout Providers

Our website and purchasing process may use third-party services for payments, shipping, analytics, reviews or checkout. Purchases made through an authorized third-party checkout service remain purchases from Drafting Equipment Warehouse and are governed by these Terms, along with any additional terms presented by the third-party service.

Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and service terms.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drafting Equipment Warehouse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from website use, product delays, carrier delays, product misuse or an inability to use a product.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEW’s total liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid to DEW for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Events Outside Our Control

DEW is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, labor disputes, manufacturer delays, material shortages, government actions, service interruptions or other supply-chain disruptions.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or a purchase from DEW will be handled in an appropriate state or federal court located in Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes become effective when the revised Terms are posted on this page with an updated revision date.

The Terms in effect when an order is placed will generally govern that order, except when a change is required by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
