The Lobo CTE Table with ShopTop provides a durable work surface for technical education, makerspaces and hands on project work. Its reinforced composite top, heavy gauge steel legs and steel apron frame create a stable workstation for building, assembly, fabrication and classroom shop activities.

Durable ShopTop Work Surface

The 1 1/2 inch thick ShopTop features a medium density fiberboard core positioned between two layers of 1/2 inch industrial grade particleboard. This reinforced construction provides a substantial work surface for assembly, fabrication, model building and technical classroom projects.

The particleboard surface is sealed with a clear chemical resistant, earth friendly UV finish. Two protective coats are applied to the top and one coat is applied to the bottom. The top edge features a 3/8 inch radius for a smooth finished profile.

Heavy Gauge Steel Construction

A 1 inch by 2 inch apron frame constructed from 16 gauge steel attaches directly to the work surface for strength and stability. The apron connects to durable 14 gauge fixed steel legs finished in black powder coat.

Adjustable leveling glides help stabilize the table on uneven classroom and shop floors. Optional casters can be added when mobility is needed and increase the overall table height by 3 1/2 inches.
