Deluxe Adjustable Parallel Edge Boards

<p>I bought this with a discount, and I was unsure at first, but I recommend this online store to anyone else. They delivered it within a week, with no damage and just as I ordered/expected it! I really appreciate their deal and their professional care. I think the only thing is that the tracking info is a little bit confusing at first, but then it pretty good. I would definitely put this down as a reliable source, as a first-time buyer.</p>

<p>First of all id like to say that I have now been doing business with DEW for about 5 yrs now and I am extremely pleased with the service and products that I have purchased from DEW.</p> <p>This is my 3rd board that I have purchased from DEW, the 1st 2 boards where a bit smaller than the one i recently purchased but I was happy with them. This board is 18" x 24"and I'm extremely happy with it. I give both DEW and this product a 10 out of 10 rating and I highly recommend it.</p>

<p>Board size is perfect for 8.5 x 11 sheets. It doesn't occupy a lot of space on the table. The sliding ruler can be locked and well aligned to the board, also held by mechanically synchronized strings at both ends with pulleys behind the melamine board.</p>

DEW wasn't the first company chosen to order the board from, I was simply going down the list of companies that sold the board. Short story: when asking one of the other companies if they had it in stock no one did and it would take two weeks until I would receive the board. When I contacted DEW, Eddie told me they had board in stock and shipped the same day!! So, if you are looking to buy drafting supplies I highly recommend DEW Drafting Supplies, they will have it in stock and ship as promised. (Assuming it's not a special order)</p>

Very pleasant dealing with dew; good delivery time and a quality product (and I'm fussy).

It's solid and works well. It doesn't stand up as high as I would like. Only up to about 45 degrees. Each time I open it one of the wires on the back hangs up on part of the support. I don't understand why the big buttons on the parallel rule. It hardly adjusts, and then only in one direction. The lock is on the side. Would have preferred it the other way around. The one great flaw is the size: it is exactly 24 x 36. This makes it hard to tape down plans of that size. Should have been made 25 x 37.

Functions really well and size is perfect for small drawing projects. Was exactly what I was expecting.

Love this large size portable drafting table with adjustable heights and an attached handle making it easy to transport. Will use for architectural purposes but am also a watercolor it’s and will use as an easel to paint also! Very versatile!

DEW was super quick to answer any questions I had and equally fast in shipping my item. One note is that the drawing board is more like 23 5/8” not a true 24”. It is 36” wide. My 24x36 vellum runs off the top or bottom of the board, which is disappointing and should be noted if you’re purchasing for use with that size of vellum/other paper. The drawing board is sturdy, well made and tilts at great angles! The parallel bar glides over the board very smoothly and doesn’t squeak like other bars I’ve had. It also locks in place with the side knob and has a lot of space for paper/media that has some depth to it. I think it has at least 1/2” clearance if you need it. One thing I did not count on was how high this board comes off the table. The feet lift it a good inch or more up. Regular chair height is almost not high enough with this board to be comfortable to draw on. It makes getting to the top of this board easier with standing - which works for me. Taller people may not mind this, I’m 5’3”.
