The adjustable worksurface tilts from flat up to 50 degrees, allowing comfortable drafting and layout work at multiple angles. A reversible steel apron along the front edge functions as both a paper stop and pencil ledge to help keep drawings and tools in place while working.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a 4-post drafting table different?
Four-post drafting tables are designed for maximum stability and long-term durability. Compared to lighter hobby tables, the Ranger's heavy-duty steel frame provides a sturdier work surface for classrooms, studios, and professional drafting environments.
Is the Mayline Ranger good for classrooms?
Yes. Ranger drafting tables are commonly used in architecture programs, engineering classrooms, design studios, and educational environments because they are built for demanding daily use.
What size drafting table should I choose?
Most users are happier with a table slightly larger than their paper size. Extra space helps provide room for scales, triangles, templates, reference materials, and parallel bars without feeling cramped.
Does the drafting table top tilt flat?
Yes. The Ranger drafting table adjusts from flat up to approximately 50 degrees, allowing comfortable drafting and layout work at multiple angles.
Can a parallel bar be installed on this table?
Yes. Many customers install professional parallel straightedges or parallel bars on Ranger drafting tables for technical drawing applications.
Does the Ranger drafting table come assembled?
No. Assembly is required after delivery because the tables ship knocked down for freight transportation.
Are Ranger drafting tables made-to-order?
Yes. Ranger drafting tables are custom made-to-order products with selected size and finish options. Orders are generally non-cancellable and non-returnable once production begins.
