Description

<p>I am in construction and review plans often. I like that the ruler at the leading edge is in inches. I like the circles for drafting. I like the Degrees. I like the rolling function as it makes it quick to draw lines when redlining plans. I like the slides at the end of the ruler as it keeps the face up when drawing lines, so I don't spread ink around when redlining. The little maginifying circle works well on plans when I can't quite read a dimension etc. This is the second one I have bought. The first one I had for several years I dropped it and broke it. Nice to find this one to replace the old one. I have not used the 1/4 and 1/2" scale toggle much so cannot comment on how well that works.</p>

Not a professional tool.

I received this today, and it will be going directly to the recycling bin. The roller mechnism is cheaply build and there is a difinite wobble in the roller, even without the detents engaged for metric or inches. For a rolling straightedge used in any sort of professional setting, look elsewhere
